CON Lemongrass and Rosemary Leave in Creme Conditioner

Smells really nice that was one of the reasons I bought it. I am not even going to lie I have in the past and still do sometimes bought products based on the scent alone, who doesn’t love nice smelling products:) Ingredient list is way too long for me to type on here I may end up misspelling something I am sure it is available somewhere on the internet. The product claims to quickly soften, detangle and condition hair. It further says that the organic lemongrass adds shine while the rosemary helps to protect and strengthen hair. It has a very thick consistency and leaves a sticky residue on the hands after application which is normal I guess with all crème like products. This product leaves my hair feeling crunchy I used it three times on different occasions just to make sure it was the product and nothing else causing the crunchy feeling. I am currently on extension hair protective styling mode but always wear my hair out after taking out the extensions for a few days to give it a break before installing a new set of extensions and use this time to test out any new products recently purchased.

First time using this product was after washing my hair I applied this product and sealed with coconut oil, not so bad there was a slight crunch but not too much I guess good old coconut oil overpowered it. Second time sealed with sweet almond oil and my oh my was my hair crunchy or what! Third time used the product alone without sealing my hair still felt crunchy! I used it both on wet and dry hair and It left my hair with a weird soft crunchy feeling. The product claim of quickly softening may actually be true because while my hair felt soft it also felt crunchy in a very weird kind of way.  Didn’t like it so I am now using it in my homemade braid spray mix seems to work better for me that way since I dilute it down with distilled water and add natural oils to the mix. I will use it this way until it runs out. I would consider repurchasing a sample size or sachet if available just to use in my braid spray because I love the scent.

While doing my blog rounds the other day I came across snake oil on Hairjunkie2011. Ewww don’t think I will be trying that ever!!!

    1. I know right! Her hairdresser is the one who used it on her hair though. Do you have a review on the CON conditioning treatment? I am not giving up on their products yet...

  2. I have this leave-in as well and I got the same crunchy feeling as my hair was air drying but it softened up a bit after it was dry. I barely use it now or mix it with other products.

PS. I've tried the CON Intensive Conditioning Treatment and like it alot. It makes my hair feel amazing after I've used it.
